Qualidade de vida e saúde geral dos Servidores Penitenciários do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul / Quality of life and among the civil servants working in penal

O Presente estudo teve por objetivo avaliar a qualidade de vida (QV) dos Servidores Penitenciários do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul em relação às condições de trabalho e a saúde geral. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, quantitativa, de corte transversal em que foram convidados a participar 110 servidores de carreira. Para a coleta dedados aplicaram-se três instrumentos: questionário sociodemográfico,questionário de Saúde Geral de Goldberg e o de qualidade de vida geral WHOQOL-abreviado. Os resultados demonstraram que quanto maior grau de instrução menor a qualidade de vida no domínio psicológico; os indivíduos casados apresentaram melhor QV e também foi verificado que quanto maior a renda pessoal melhor QV. Os homens apresentam melhores resultados de saúde geral em relação às mulheres. A presente pesquisa poderá contribuir como suporte na elaboração do plano de ações a serem implantadas na execução da política penal voltada aos servidores, visando à promoção da saúde e à prevenção de doenças e consequentemente melhor QV e SM. The Penitentiary Servants can be unsatisfied with the activities that accomplish, for that factor and for other, it can unchain in the servant emotional problems and difficulty in Keeping his/her quality of life and health, even compromising his/her working skills. Objective. Assessing the quality of life and among the civil servants working in penal institutions in Mato Grosso do Sul – AGEPEN, their relationship with the work conditions as well as their general health state. It is a quantitative study, a cross-sectional. They were invited to announce110 career servants. To collect the data three instruments were used: a sociodemographic questionnaire, Goldberg General Health questionnaire and WHOQOL- short questionnaire. The results demonstrated that, the higher the education level the worse the quality of life (QL); married ones have the best QL; the higher the personal in come thehigher the QL; The results of QSG-60: men have better general health(GH) in relation to the women;. This survey will contribute as a support for creating a plan to implement a policy of actions in favor of the servants in order to improve their health, prevent diseases and consequently improve their quality of life. Fatores preditivos de transtornos alimentares entre estudantes do ensino médio / Eating disorders preditive factors among high school students

Os transtornos alimentares têm aumentado muito e com início cada vez mais precoce. Este estudo objetivou detectar a prevalência de sintomas indicativos de distúrbios alimentares em adolescentes. Responderam a um teste 1.108 adolescentes (sexo feminino) e 968 (sexo masculino) com idade média de 15,92 anos; 9,7% tiveram o Teste de Atitudes Alimentares (EAT-26) positivo. A análise multivariadade monstrou a influência do sexo e sentimento em relação ao peso (p<0,001), sintomas depressivos (p=0,002) e índice de massa corporal (IMC) (p=0,010). Conclui-se que as adolescentes estudadas apresentam escores de EAT+ semelhantes aos descritos na literatura mundial. (AU)

Cases of eating disorders and their premature onset have been increasing.The objective of this study was to detect the prevalence of symptoms suggesting eating disorders in Brazilians adolescents. Were interviewed 1108 females and 968 males, with mean age of 15.92 years; 9.7% of them had positive results on the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT- 26). The multivariate analysis showed that the results were influenced by gender and self-conscious ness about weight (p<0.001), depressive symptoms (p=0.002) and body mass index – BMI (p=0.010). We concluded that the EAT scores presented by the female adolescents in this study were similar to those found in the international literature.
